Barnes Foundation Excursion

The Barnes Foundation is located a short distance from Philadelphia in Merion, Pennsylvania. The Barnes collections of early French Modern and Post-Impressionist paintings are among the finest in the world. An extraordinary number of masterpieces by Renoir, Cezanne and Matisse provide a depth of work by these artists unavailable elsewhere. The collections include works by Picasso, Seurat, Modigliani, Rousseau, Soutine, Monet, Manet and others. For more details, you can view the web site, www.barnesfoundation.org.

The Barnes Foundation strictly regulates access of the public to the gallery, both by limiting the number of days on which it is open and by restricting the number of visitors to the gallery per day. Attendance is by pre-paid reservation only. Thus, if you wish to join this excursion, you must indicate that on the Payment Form at the time of your registration. Cost for both conference participants and accompanying persons is $5.00 per person.
