Oscillation results from the K2K experiment

Abstract
In this talk, I will review the motivations for and the experimental
techniques used in long-baseline neutrino experiments. I will present
results on neutrino oscillations from the K2K experiment which uses an
accelerator to produce neutrinos near Tokyo and then detects them 250
km away at the Super-Kamiokande detector. I also will discuss plans
for the next generation of long-baseline experiments.
