B-Physics at Dzero (it's not just production any more)
Hal Evans
Abstract
With major upgrades to the detector and the prospect of orders of
magnitude more data in Run II at the Tevatron, the Dzero experiment is
poised to make contributions to all aspects of the physics of the
b-quark. I will summarize the B-physics aspirations of the experiment
and motivate its goals based on improvements in the detector. Special
attention will be paid to putting the anticipated Dzero measurements
into the perspective of the global B-physics program over the next
decade.
