Searching High and Low for Exotic Particles at NuTeV
Joseph Formaggio
Abstract
The NuTeV (e815) experiment at Fermilab has made use of its high
intensity, high energy neutrino beam to search for the existence
of a variety of exotic particles. NuTeV is particularly
sensitive to weakly interacting neutral particles which decay to leptons
and/or hadrons. I will report today on NuTeV's search for such massive
neutral particles using a dedicated instrumented decay channel,
concentrating in particular on the finding of anomolous dimuon events in
our signal-sensitive region.
