Abstract

I will report the measurement of direct CP violation parameter $Re(\epsilon'/\epsilon)$ performed by KTeV collaboration at Fermilab. This result, based on the double ratio measurement of CP violating and CP conserving decay rates of $K_{S,L} \rightarrow \pi^+\pi^-$ and $K_{S,L} \rightarrow \pi^0\pi^0$, provides the discovery of direct CP violation. By the usage of the regeneration technique, the KTeV detector is also sensitive to the phase differences of the decay amplitudes allowing to measure $Im(\epsilon'/\epsilon)$ and thus check CPT symmetry. I will also report the measurement of the other kaon system parameters, $\Delta m$, $\tau_S$ and $\phi_{+-}$.
