pizza dough old recipe
1 1/2 cups warm (105-115 F) water 1 pkg dry yeast 2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 cup olive oil, plus oil for bowl 4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour In a large bowl, whisk together water and yeast. Let stand 5 min. Whisk in salt, garlic powder, and olive oil. Stir in 3 1/2 cups of flour, until soft dough forms. Sprinkle work surface with flour. Turn out the dough. Knead 5 min, until smooth. Lightly oil a large bowl. Put in dough, turn it to coat it with oil, and cover with a clean towel. Let rise 2 hours, until puffy & light.
