Making the Binaries

  Next compile and link the various SNODB tools and the server program by issuing the command:

$\sim$/3_06_02/scripts/snodb.perl -make_tools

You should now have the following files under the $\sim$/3_06_02/exes directory.

cdserv ! The server program from CERN plus bug fixes

sncreate ! Will create the database files

sndirs ! Will create the directory structure in the database file

snalia ! Will create alias definition for the diretories

sdb_input_titles ! Loads the SNOMAN titles files in the database

sdb_output_titles ! Extracts titles files from the database

There will also be at least one log file in the exes directory in which the results of the building process are recorded.
