Database Purging

  Every so often, outdated data needs to cleared out of the database. HEPDB has a procedure which does this (HDBEXTR), but on closer inspection it turned out to be...vaporware! It is possible to write custom procedures to do this, but this is not needed until further down the road when the database has been used for a while.
